I'm quite pleased about it, it means I've got an excuse to get to the airport even earlier

In Moscow's Sheremetovo 2 airport, there's a little Irish Pub which is our regular pre-flight refuge. Firstly, it's a smoking area. They also serve a good ham & cheese croissant which makes a nice snack, plus they have several international beers on tap and Irina's favorite hard cider in bottles.
It's as integral a part of our holiday as the flight itself
(I'd still rather get an extra hour or two of sleep before going though!)

Phil is such a nightmare when it comes to waiting at airports - he is gonna be a friggin pain in the ass

Bugger - I'm going to end up missing my flight at this rate. For some absurd reason I'm flying from Luton, which is about 4 hours from oxford 
(serves me right for booking in a fit of excitement and not thinking about it) and I leave on friday night at about 10. Gonna have to skive off work early I think...

Ha - I have to drive to Manchester from Newcastle for a 6.00am flight, I think we will drive to Liverpool day before now.... have a few beers then get a taxi straight to the airport for about 3.00am now....8)

I think the outbound flight will still be the same, the inbound one will cause a problem.

In the States, this has simply meant stating your name/birthdate etc. after handing over your passport- it shouldn't take more than a minute, but some people
....Luton is Waaaay nearer to Oxford than Gatwick fella...

I'm so glad I don't ever have to cope with roads.
but there's no direct bus you see, unlike gatwick and heathrow. And I don't drive. So it's rubbish.
