I'm trying to sort getting a villa for the closing parties...to include Space.
Does anyone know the dates? Sounds like people had a great time in Sept this year

Based on every other year WLS Closing will be 25th September, Space Closing the following week.

Did anyone go to Space Opening this year and WLS opening a few weeks later? Care to offer a comparison between the 2?

I went to both.

Space opening was huge, both in terms of physical size with the addition of the parking terrace, and numbers of people. It was more of an international ocasion too, I thought.

However musically the lineup probably wasn't as exciting. Some of the tunes were a little stale IMO.

We Love opening was more English but not overbearingly so. You wouldn't call it intimate, but there weren't the hordes of the club opening.

However the music at We Love was really exciting and varied. There were plenty of crowd-pleasing numbers but a lot of innovation too, again IMO.

I couldn't have summed it up better Dr. That's why I always prefer WLS Opening and Closing to Space Opening and Closing. I always find the line-up for Space Opening/Closing very same-as same-as whereas (ok with the exception of Groove Armada ) you know that Dazza Hughes is going to pull out all the stops and use all his connections for WLS line-ups.
