DJing nightmares

And I speak literally rather than figuratively..

I have a recurring nightmare that I forget to bring my records to gigs. Had variants on this same dream 8 or 9 times, it's quite traumatising!

Although I've had dreams all my life where I forget there's an important exam so haven't prepared, haven't prepared for an big presentation, or forget stuff when I go on holiday..

It's strange because I'm pretty reliable in real life.. anyone have these same dreams regularly or anyone know what they're supposed to signify?

all i'm not really a DJ, i'm prone to crashin the odd party with my unorthodox style of brazilian/latin influenced chuddering house:lol: .

my DJ nightmare is where i'm incapable of working out which record i should take off, so its like a 50:50 roulette for every mix..............in my dream i defy all probability stats by going on a 10 record run of picking the wrong one:?

I did that in real life at a headline gig at the medicin bar in Shoreditch. Well actually I ejected a CD when it was playing. Yes, it was quite nightmarish!

I have the school exam dream every once in a while. I think it's stress related.

But, my most embarassing DJ nightmare I had (and I am not very good) was at an afterhours party w/ a bunch of club DJ's in Denver. I played the entire record on 33 speed when it should have been 45. I probably shouldn't have been playing as I was off my ass. The other DJ's just laughed at me, and we continued killing our brains for five more hours. 8)

I've cued up a track with the fader still up.

After loads of 'whpwhpwhpwhwpwhpwhpwheeeeeeoooouw' someone kindly let me in on it.

How about someone spilling a pint over the mixer    while I was playing... and while the sound got worse and I had to play on... my friends rushed back to my house to bring mine down! I can laugh about this now!
