Hi ya my names dj Speedy K im from Essex. I found this website and i thought id put a post up. You see me and my fiance are thinking about going out to Ibiza next year and we was wondering how easy it is to get work out there as dj's in bars/clubs etc.. has anyone on here done this and if so did you manage to get work out there? leave your messages cheers

Depends what kind of dj you are. If you don't mind playing a little r'n'b and some poppy stuff along with your house you could get some work in the West end, but those bars may or may not keep their dj's from the previous year so your chance would be to get out there in April and just chuck out cd's (and CV's) left and right. But think about it first, it's gonna be a 7-days-a-week thankless job taking requests for f***ing Sean Paul you're looking at, with piss poor salary (come to think of it, which job in Ibiza isn't?)...
If you want to play in some more credible establishments like Savannah's, Plastik, Hush, Itaca, Orange Corner etc (sorry I only know about San An
), you may get like a 1-2 h set a week or something if you're good and your music is suitable. Don't expect to get paid anything for it though.
