I'm staying in Playa d'en Bossa (Jet complex to be precise), what's my best bet for getting to DC10 and KM5? Buses preferred to taxis and prepared to walk within reason.

You're very close to DC10 (I stayed at the Jet last year, myself) however as far as I know, there aren't any buses that go right by it.
You're far better off getting a taxi, especially if there's more than one of you as the road can be a bit dangerous so walking is probably out of the question, although if you're not wasted you could probably manage it.
