Did you know that cash dispenser instructions in Vatican State are written in ancient latin?

I couldn't never get money....:D

sorry to be pedantic but latin is the official language of the vatican city.

and also, linguistically there is no great difference between ancient latin and later forms (the alphabet being the main one) so latin is rarely referred to as "ancient latin".

whereas, for example, (modern) greek is always distinguished from ancient greek.

I really know latin is the official language of the Vatican State, but I just find strange that a language layed aside is used in common life stuffs, especially those related to new tecnologies 8O. Also, you're right ancient latin = latin since nowdays nobody speaches latin anymore...(just in few catholic ceremonies).

I'll promise to be more precise next time ;)
