Devo in Ibiza?

It might be wishful thinking but on 6 Music, I'm sure they said Devo were playing in Ibiza on Friday 20 July, no doubt at Manumission.

Can anyone verify this? Nothing on the 6 Music site or elsewhere.

I'm seeing them anyway in Glasgow next month but catching them in Ibiza would be something else.

You have the best taste in music. Some day, you and I must get together, listen to mix tapes (or MP3 playlists, as I suppose these kids call them these days) and reminisce about the good old days :lol:
 
I suppose it depends on your point of view, geographical location and the subculture to which you adhere, Buckers ;)
 
remember that tale i once told about going to see zappa and the mothers. they strode on stage and started to play - everyone burst into rapturous applause when they finished and big frank said - thanks but we were only tuning up!

My babysitter when I was a kid tried to turn me on to all sorts of strange and wonderful bands when I was very very young Zappa being one of them and Captain Beefheart and Howling Wolf also spring to mind.......

over my head as a 9yr old........:? :? :? :? :?
