Dell laptops :-)

Haven't followed the links, but is that about the exploding laptops? :lol:

I had a Dell for a year up until last Christmas. Just died on me for no apparent reason. Simple stopped working. Was a crap laptop anyway so I just replaced it with an Acer...
 
Great! That is all my company give to people are Dell laptops - in fact i am writing this on one now!
 
Well then learn your lesson. Don't leave them powered on and put them on the carpet for an hour or so and walk away. :D

It's annoying when that happens because the keys tend to get stuck.
 
wow. mum just got a dell laptop. will be checking those recalled batteries.

I have been using my Dell Inspiron 7400 for the past 6 years. It's got a 667MHz Pentium III processor. I upgraded the memory and hard drive once. It still works like a charm. I use it for work, Photoshop antics, web/e-mail communique and checking out updates on MILF Hunter. Works beautifully.
