When on Ibiza, I love the nightlife as much as everyone else on here
However, I differ from most in that when it comes to particular sub-genres of music, I can't tell my arse from my elbow
I go to the clubs to soak up the atmosphere ahead of the drink and music..
I was hoping some of us more schooled in clubland music could educate me, if possible defining the MANY different styles which are banded about and also if possible, give an example (a song) that I could search for and checkout which will give a good idea of what that styles all about (I'm not looking for the greatest underground elite super funk house eurolazer squabblepop trance anthem
) Just a song which will prove helpful
I understand there's so many different styles, and substyles within them that I can't even name, so add as many as possible. Words that spring to mind are trance, house, funk, electro etc.
I hope to be able to start paying more attention to particular genres and tuning into a style I prefer over others to give myself even better club night experiences in future
