Defected or cadenza??

I haven't been to either of these nights before. And i just can't decided what night i want to go to! Anyone got any views on this? The music differences?

if you like commercial house go to defected.

if you're into more underground stuff then cadenza is the one for you.

Defected is funky house, think hedkandi - but better! Obviously busy, but not half as rammed as other pacha nights.

Cadenza is bouncy techno, absolutely incredible, very busy but oh so worth having your head stuck in an italian's armpit (in my opinion!)

Cadenza is also house. Definitely not techno.
It's just more "underground" than Defected (i.e. a little darker, maybe slightly techno-influenced but just as likely to hear a great mix of some old classic)

Disagree on the "Funky House" tag. Dont think Dunmore would agree either

In my general experience it can be one of the best nights on the island. Dont go if Sinclar is on the bill, unless you like Camembert.

In agreement with the crowd numbers though. Very comfortable levels.

But just to add to confusion, I would try Cadenza, only cos I have not been yet.

Just been looking at the party calendar and pacha's weekly line-up looks very strong. not all my first choice but none the less very strong! I would say cadenza too!!

Do both defected and cadenza, they're both on different nights.

pacha's weekly line-up

meaning their nights they have on, ie defected, cadenza, FMIF, SHM, subliminal and with pete tong back onboard its looks like a good mix of commercial and underground.

I won't be doing both nights as i plan to do a few other clubs too during the week i'm there! So, defected or Cadenza? I'm quite into defected... is a night worth going to?

if you want to party on saturday, which frankly most people avoid, then Defected it's the best choice...
Cadenza has a great line up, if they add more up and coming new acts a la Wolf+Lamb then it will be unstoppable. Though last year I didn't go as We Love... Space always deliver an amazing line up
