Sounds killer... too bad I won't be in London.
Defected have to do a regular series in Moscow! If Hed Kandi can...

It was an ace night! First time at Ministry and was well impressed. Nice club - sound system was really good, the music sounded amazing and didn't have the usual tinnitus the next day!
Wasn't impressed that the cloakroom was full by 1am, but me and my mate stashed our jackets behind an advertisement board just inside the club, unfortunately my mates wasn't there by the end, but mine was! Maybe my jackets not as cool as I thought :? .
It was good to hear 'Rocking Music', 'Doing My Own Thing' and a few others performed live to 8)
Random moment of the night was wandering around looking for the gents, going through a few doors and ending up alongside Sandy, JJ & Kid Creme in the DJ booth!! No one seemed to mind I was in there though!
Embarrassing moment(s) of the night were, after Barbie had said to say 'hi' if I saw her, asking 2 girls that seemed to fit the 'Barbie' description if they were called 'Barbie' and not getting the friendliest of responses

Haha, exactly the same thing happened to me! (in Ministry too!)

The others (fake Barbies) must be going "Not f'in you aswell"

I was a little dissapointed on Saturday. I hate Ministry when it's packed. We did get VIP and everything, but the VIP room is just completely detached from the rest of the club, and has NO atmosphere. Funny you should say about the DJ booth, I was in there most of the night too. Do you remember a guy with a really ('wheres wally' style) stripey jumper? That was my mate (my clothes weren't memorable!)

Sandy Rivera played one of the worst sets I've ever not wanted to hear. I was going pretty well with the usual JJ/KC funky stuff (who were good, but not great, and tell the MC guy he DOENST need to talk over EVERY s1tting record. I KNOW its Junior Jack and Kid Creme FFS :x )

Anyway, then Sandy came on, and played all this deep crap, with no energy or anything, knocking the wind right out of my sails. Put me in a foul mood!

I agree Dan, the Defected sound is a bit fluffy for my taste, thought Martin Solveig was booooorrrring, he may as well have played the Defected Most Wanted CD  and JJ&KC who I normally really like were playing the same set as a year ago (Stupidisco, Da Hype etc  ) and Sandy wasn't really doing it for me either. Fortunately the aftershow shenanigans more than made up for an average night.

Good to see you again :D

I do seem to remember him actually, thought he must've been pretty hot with a jumper on!

Looking back the music wasn't as good as I was expecting, following their efforts in Ibiza, but still really enjoyed it. I was in a really good mood that night for some reason! I'll have to make a return to a night that's more 'clubby', seemed to be packed full of tourists on Saturday!

The music was terrible I thought, it was like none of them had got any new records for the last 6 months and they all were playing from the same record box

Was definitely one of the worse crowds I've seen @ Ministry for a while, I was going 'grrrr this is like a Hed Kandi crowd, why can't you all funk off to Pacha'

It did seem to be a 'the year so far' policy!
