Defected @ El Divino....

VINNY

On friday the 6th of Aug looks very tasty and i think is a radio 1
event, with..Kid Cream,Sandy Revera,Junior Jack and Andy Daniell.

Now i know Drew rates this night very highly and his recomendation
of this night is enough for me,but i was just wondering if anyone else had been to this night and what they thought of it.

Also i here El Divino only hold around 400 clubbers so i can see this being
a bit of a cattle market because of radio 1

Planing on doing space in the day then on to Punto Es Moli for radio 1 then El Divino...

Worth it or not ?........

Que Drew.... ;)

and anyone else with advise :D

i will defo be there!!!!

went last year and its was one of the best nights i had in ibiza.

Cattle market in El Divino, your having a laugh arent you. it holds a lot more than 400 but it will be very busy but then if you want to go to an half empty club go see dj sammy!!

No not having a laugh just that i have never been to El Divino and im
shure i heard once on sky tv that it only holds 400 or so.
Also you carnt beat a busy club but also like space to dance and i think
if you pack to many into a club it can spoil the night IMO...

When i use the frase cattle market i meen ram you in like sheep !!!

ye i see what your saying, i dont think itll be too bad but whos knows, get yourself down there and perhaps well bump into each other.

i think the club holds 2000 by the way

I'll be going to El Divino on the 6th of August as well (unless Pure Pacha comes up with a brilliant djs lineup on that night, which they haven't yet).

I guess we should all see eachother there... somehow ;)
(I'm usually easier to spot than others :P )

I would say El Divino holds 1000-1500 people.

Never used to like El Divino, but really enjoyed the Defected night last year.

You'll get a less commercial crowd for the Defected night than the Hed Kandi (no offence HK ;) )

When we went last year, we'd been to Space (Sunday) earlier and the music at Defected absolutely blinded Space.

I still prefer Space/Pacha as clubs but El Divino is nice if you don't want such a full on night. It's nice to just sit around and chat on the terrace and go inside every so often.

The only downside to Space for me is that there's not enough space to chill out. If they opened up the back area all season it would be much better for chillin' and grabbing some fresh air.

Pacha has it all of course :P

Go go go.. you won't be disappointed.

Went to the Defected opening last year and it was fantastic. Not major busy, but nicely full. Really nice crowd - in there for the music and dancing.. unlike the Moneypenny's night that was full of "dolls" and Danny Rampling playing progressive :? Best thing about the Moneypenny's night was meeting David Morales!!

Sandy's the best .. and if you like your house music you'll be dancing til the club closes.. :)

Heh heh... "This this this .. this this this this... I Can't Stop". Still remember dancing around to it. Then again.. I try to see him as often as possible.. and he's a rather nice, extremely modest bloke. We organised our holiday last year around when he was playing.. and he was amazed that anyone would do that just to see him play. :D

Back 25th June.. first night Defected.. with Sandy Rivera. Brilliant.

went last year to sandy riviera at defected in september and had a great night, el divino is a nice comfy, elegant club and if you want a welcome and relaxed night with good tunes i would recommend it.....went almost straight from there to DC10 on the monday morning...lets just say there was quite a contrast!!

Not sure if the full listings have been posted previously to this, if they have I apologise.....

Had a brill time at defected last summer, Junior jack and Co were wicked, everyone was really friendly. The club is not all that but the views are cool and the drinks were cheaper than the bigger clubs. U have to go!!!!

Its a sure fire winner....and just to prove it i've got my defected t-shirt on today!

incidentally El Divino is cool as f*ck.

They really need to ditch the VIP bit on the terrace, whenever I go there it's empty.

Last time i went in 2001 it was full of such "A" listers as Victoria "forehead" Hervey and good old Peter Stringfellow....now thats class!

I wouldn't even let them in my club.
