there's an official subliminal post on erick morillo's fb dated 29th january saying "roll on subliminal at pacha 2013"...

Interesting....as that was not the original post that went up on 29th Jan. It has been edited to reflect the venue.....so that puts that rumour to bed.
 
It's on his website...what more do you need?
Looks to me like Bez is gutted as another one of his blog posts comes across as totally pointless and full of false rumour.

Defected 2013

Ok when can we expect Defected In The House dates and line ups? Must be overdue now surely what with Pacha and others already having announced their line ups!!!
 
Thanks for that hopefully we will get to see full line ups real soon!!! Am hoping that Frankie Knuckles will feature again with Defected at some point this year too!!
 
More on the Pacha fallout from Simon Dunmore on his twitter account tonight referencing the NYT article..... Quote from Pacha “Electronic music hasn't evolved in 20 years & is 4 idiots” Don't bite the hand that feeds you.....
 
Defected have been confirmed to be at BOMBA this summer alongside Morillo and Luciano, according to the press release I received this afternoon.

We had an amazing season last year. I believe it was our most successful year in the 8 years we were at Pacha, but when I had a meeting with the new management team in October, their account of the 2012 season bore absolutely no relation to what I'd experienced when I was there every Saturday night. It became really clear that there was a real disconnect with how they saw Pacha's future and their perception of Defected. Despite what they said in the press recently, they definitely wanted us to stay, but it just felt like it was time to move on so I went and saw [former Pacha Brand Director] Danny Whittle and he told me about Giuseppe, and he told me about the new club and that kind of fitted in with everything we were going to be doing with the label.

It's all about change and moving the label forward and I believe it'll look great and it will be really, really impressive.
And if we fail, at least we've tried to do something different. 8)
So whatever happens, I feel it was the right thing to do
