Im seriously thinking about gettin some decks etc
my cousins got some and i go on them now and then, just wondering if any of you guys know any good links to get some online?
and also some advice on what to get?
Thanks in advance guys :D

buying online means you miss out on huge discounts.

the standard practice is to use sapphires - decks.co.uk and another company, I use and prefer JB's.

Ring up one anf get a quote for your desired equipment, take the guys name.

ring up the rival firm and tell them about your quote, get their offer and again take the guys name.

ring up the first company and do the same. When they cant beat the price start getting them to throw stuff in for free, carts, styli, a record bag - these usually come as standard with a set of turntables, so try and get them upgrades to better ones.

Personally I will never buy any equipment off sapphires again, after getting some faulty speakers at christmas from them, returning them was a nigthmare and straight away they blamed me for the fault, they also exaggerated the damage when they recieved the goods.

playing them off against each other can get big discount, I got 2 cdj800s for £800 when they retailed at £500 each

I found these great...

Great service, Bought a couple of Axis 9's...one was faulty, replaced in days, they have buying guides, to help you decide on best equipment etc...

They also have manuals etc for most equipment...

They also have online live chat for support & questions...

Sounds like I work for them, but I don't they just gave me great service, when these days it's hard to find...

Good luck

ebay

TONNES of bargains to be had. whole setups etc.

pick up a set of 1210's and a decent mixer plus carts etc. for £500-£600

dont throw your money away on split new gear

I'd go straight for cdj's. Tracks are cheaper and vinyl is a dying medium. Pioneer 500, 800 or 1000s or some denons.

get as good a mixer as you can afford.
