agree with nadz, rob, real world is the only way - i've got 3 or 4 pair of maharishi in differing sizes as they all have a slightly different fit depending on the style. likewise with jeans from the same brand - i've had to get different waist sizes depending on the style. ;)

Don't they have a drawstring waist though??? So if I got a medium size from ebay then it wouldn't it fit most waist sizes within reason?

They don't all have drawstring waist and as Grego says different styles are different fits. Tom's had small, medium and large Maharishis in the past depending on the fit.

Best idea is to go to their store in Covent Garden, also keep an eye out in the press cos they do sample sales now and again.

i think you could get away with it, but like babs says you could have a baggy bum or lycra skin tight bum depending on the style. same with the crotch, for a medium it'll either be fine or you'll be struggling for storage space!!
