DC10 V SPACE?????

Okay heres a quick teaser for you, coming to ibiza this summer for a week, do i go to DC10'S on the monday or space on the sunday??? i know the obvious answer is to go to both, but i really like to be fresh for DC10'S as it is noramlly a LONG DAY, basically...which is better, i've been to DC10'S loved it, but i've never been to space.......

i have heard that the atmosphere at DC10's etc is better, but since i've never been to Space, i can't compare the two....i do know, that in london i prfer the smaller, more underground club, which makes me think DC10 might be the winner....what do you think??
 
You will be able to go to both. DC10 doesnt kick off til early afternoon these days. So go to Space and then back to the apartment for a few hours kip then over to DC10. :D

If you've never done Space it has to be done, the atmosphere on the terrace is unbelievable. Yay it's more commercial than DC10 but to be honest I think DC10 is pretty commercial these days say than it was 4/5 years ago.

Also I don't know when last time you went to DC10 was, you know how people used to go straight from Space so it was a Carry On, these days people tend to arrive about midday as it goes on til at least 9pm.

Me personally these days I go Space midday - midnight, get some kip and then go to DC10 bout midday Monday and feel pretty good.

Also last year they started announcing line-ups for DC10 so you know who's playing, that might swing it for you cos you'll be able to see who is at Space and who is at DC10 and make your mind-up.

I would be hard pushed to choose between the 2 but Space just edges it for me.

Although .......none of us can realy predict what the atmosphere is going to be like at Space this year with the new roof design!!

...but yes, you can certainly do both space and DC10. just get to DC10 at about 1.30pm so you can rest a bit.

okay, okay, i'll stop being such a wet blanket and go to both, i just love DC10's and was determined not turn up their feeling like a paranoid alien like i did last year!!

We went a bit para at DC10 last year cos the doormen beat the living shit out of some english girl and dragged her outside 8O

I know most people consider the door staff really friendly at DC10, which they probably are unless they have cause to act otherwise.

But, i really don't like how they wander round patrolling the club constantly.

You don't get that at Pacha or Space.

i saw them do almost exactly the same to a girl actually, didn't see them beating her, but saw them carrying her, and her screaming, and wriggling.....i find them pretty scary if i'm honest, kind of why i wanted to be feeling good when i went this time round...
 
We decided to call it a night, went to eat somewhere then chilled at Mao Rooms later which was a much more pleasant way to finish that particular night.
 
I've never been to DC10 (definitely a must next summer) but if joseph says he likes smaller clubs I think he might feel more comfortable at this club. The terrace of Space is big and long (and the inner room too). I personally love Space but if he doesn't like big venues, he probably wouldn't feel as good as in DC10.

personally.

dc10 was better before every kid who read mixmag turned up.
space on sundays has got immensely popular as well.

if I had to choose Id choose space.;)
 
Personally I find inside at DC10 a little claustrophobic especially with all those trippy images on the big screen and found my self surrounded last year by a few too many German body builders. Not a good look. Still it does have that distinct atmosphere that u won't get anywhere else on the island. But would recommend Space over it anyday.
 
I say if you've never tried Space than no harm in trying it eh? As commercial as it's become it really is worth a try and the vibe is just so great! Ahhh the Terrace!! Good Times!! :D
