...for me, dc10 is your ‘pure’ Ibiza clubbing experience – no where else comes close. so even if circo loco moves to a new venue, amnesia etc, the thrill travelling down the Salinas road for a lost Monday afternoon’s dancing will be gone.
plus, all you have to do to see where Ibiza is going is check out last Sunday Times style section which focused on the growing VIP scene on the island and in the clubs (a quarter of Pacha’s capacity is now VIP, there still can’t do anything about the rotten swell on the roof terrace though!! The clubbing industry in Ibiza is by far and away the biggest, most celebrated,
intense and profitable one on Earth.

“I think they thought, if we shut down DC10 for instance,
we deter a certain type of tourist that we’re not that interested in.
And I think they were shocked by how many of the high-rollers -

hire big villas and spend fortunes at restaurants and all the boutiques –
by how popular a real grassroots club like DC10 was with them and everybody,
including the islanders themselves.”
...
“If they carry on simply curtailing people’s entertainment it will have a big knock on effect for the island that will go way, way beyond your average 18-year old who comes to drink 20 pints in the West End.”
