Dc10 opinions.

Been coming to Ibiza last 5 years now. Still not managed to make it to Dc-10

Thinking I would like it as I like Techno but not necessary really heavy stuff.

I am a massive fan of Carl Cox so not really sure what to expect with Dc style

The other issue I keep reading is regarding overcrowding. We have experienced overcrowding at Space and Amnesia in the past so again not sure what to expect.

Is it less busy in the early houses of the party then gets crazy later?

Has anybody got any advice. Looking to go in September this year.

it is comfy early on nowadays. in fact, last summer it took until 10pm until both rooms were busy (except opening and closing parties of course). but yeah, by midnight it's still packed week in week out.

my take on dc10 nowadays is, if you can bear the masses and can ignore the 'too kool for skool' crowd that's there sometimes (or people that simply go to dc10 because they were told to), musically, it's still up with the very best on the island.

My advice would be to ignore the Essex British crowd on Wednesday and go on Monday. The techno could be heavier on Monday towards the end but the spectrum will be wider and you should find loads of stuff you like. I'm just not into Jamie jones music at all, or the crowd that comes with him.

Cannot agree more...crowd is pretty rough for Paradise.

Go to Circo Loco early on and enjoy the outside. Check out both rooms. The terrace at least when I have gone tends to be very packed (possibly due to what Stivi said about people that simply go to dc10 because they were told) There are very good DJs in the main room.

Musically Circo Loco it's always on point, solid bookings week in week out but once that garden closes (music stops) it truly turns into a circus.

Ridiculously busy in both the Terrace & Main Room. For us unbearably so. So much so I still question if I'll ever make it back there!

Side note: The last few years we've been there for the week before the closing party.

I often see DJs I really like such as Kerri Chandler and Felix Dickinson on the lineup BUT then I hear horror stories about bad attitudes and bottlenecks that put me off, so whenever I'm over it just never happens. for a while though a few years back it was possibly the coolest club on earth - a bit gutted to have missed the boat there

Thanks peeps.

Sounds like me and mrs could be happy with going along early and then stay until around 11.

So I am guessing it's a 3 space venue.

Garden
Terrace
Main Room

What time does all the action start and finish in each of the above?

Love the Essex comments. We actually live in Loughton in Essex tho I am from Glasgow and the Mrs is from Bilbao.

I am also remembering tickets are usually through trip advisor and on the door only? ( through reading on here over the years )

as with most clubs on the island, it just gets very busy. but also as with most clubs, it's just about knowing the sweet spots where you won't get crushed and the traffic isn't too bad.

fergi - until about 9pm only the garden is busy (even though the other floors are open too). once the garden shuts (mostly 9pm IIRC), the terrace and main room then start filling up rather quickly.

I hear you. I used to always hang out in the bar on the right as you look the stage in Space when I used to go to Coxy revolution parties. That was always Space to have a decent dance.

Sounds like Space closing party last year

Haha. Sorry. You will be used to the Essex crowd then. Just not my thing at all. Sounds like you have worked out a plan, especially if that's a Monday. It can be a little quieter from mid September onwards too. Hope you enjoy it. Circo loco is one of my fav nights on the island these days with the right dj line up.

Circo Loco at DC10 Is the one for me. Music is ace, good mix of house, tech house really. Not what I would call techno. So many top DJs that aren't the big names, really rated D'Julz last year which was like US House / House sound. First time was 2005 and real eye opener but still get the same feeling now.

Only buy tickets on the door as more expensive from bars or online. Also the bar the far end of the terrace near the DJ box is usually best for space

DC10 is great early, absolute nightmare late.

I went for a closing party a couple years ago. Went somewhat early while the sun was shining and it was great. Outside was great vibes and the terrace had plenty of space since most people were outside. Slowly the outside became slammed and when outside closed, the inside was unbearable. Do yourself a favor and leave once the outside closes if you don't like crowds.

They still leave the garden area open for chilling out with bean bag seats everywhere, or am i missing something?

The circo loco combo with cocoon is great but just found last year that circo loco started putting on their main headliners a bit later in the night than 2015 so didn't think it was worth it to do circo
