I cannot comment about previous years but we went twice in Sept 2010. Both times we met cool people, appreciated the edginess of the crowd and was glad that it wasn't as touristy as Kehakuma had been. There is no1 down on the beach giving out free passes for DC10 so the crowd are generally there, because they want to be there!

Yeah I wouldnt say the security are any worse than other clubs if not nicer but people do take the piss in that club more than any other in terms of thinking they are above the law etc so no wonder the bouncers have their hands full. If the bouncers didnt do their job that club would have been permanently closed ages ago (as it has been a couple times)

i thought it was unreal and prob my best dc10 experience in 7 years of going, well it was up there!!
as for people moaning about being pushed etc ??? that happens when a club is at capacity or over capacity, no getting away from that where ever you are in the world. just get on with it and enjoy your self.
dc10 for me is still on top! i just wish the 'normal' parties would all open at 12 like the opening

What time does it open - 4pm? Thanks, never been before even though I've been coming to Ibiza since 1996 - defo not missing it this time around!
I went to DC10 on the previos two mondays and it is by and far and away the best club on the island without doubt.
Whist all the other cubs are concentrating on lights / performances etc etc DC10 Is concentrating on what it does best. Its a raw clubbing experience with the best soundsystem on the island.
It is still a proper club.

I went for the first time last year and was really excited as it had been closed the previous year. I was so disappointed! I found it extremely posey and did meet a few people, but didn't like the vibe. I was also gutted that the music policy had changed from techno to house and never got into the music for a second. I so wished I'd gone a few years ago.

Must have been the same night ?? dubfire closed it,who was rubbish. I think he played the same techno track on loop all night, also someone kept releasing gas through his set....woooosssssshhhhh....

for my one and only visit (so far)
it was the biggest smile on my face for the mini-hol, my entire afternoon there
(perhaps aided by two Spotlighters doing some floor antics that day)
Guys I'll be in Ibiza at the end of Sept/early Oct for 2 straight Mondays including the DC10 closing. I'm debating which Monday I should go. I know the closing party will have a solid lineup and lots of hype around it, however, the closing party also seems to bring more punters and it will be packed. I'm thinking about going to the Monday before closing as it may be better than the closing for those reasons. What do you think? Closing party or the week before?
Both of them! I was there last Monday and it was one of the best parties in my 15+ yr clubbing 'career'. It's an amazing place.

haha like its a place for old people .....
or maybe its just really great!!! I avoided it for years due to tales of ultra munted people and bad attitude, nothing could have been further from the truth.
It reminded me most of space in early to mid 90's in a way.... the smallish terrace in daylight and dark club inside, people chilling in the outside gravelly bit, great music, happy faces. met so many people
on another note, so many aussies and nz in ibiza this year!!!! must have met over 20!

I have experienced bad attitude there to the point where I felt threatened in the past but I guess some people are looking for trouble and spoil it for everyone, last year I felt as though every single person in there that I met was my new best friend
