DC-10 under Fire
The closure of DC-10 was put on hold last week, but the axe seems likely to fall sooner rather than later as the Town Hall pushes for the ultimate punishment on the under-fire bar. The owner of the popular hangout presented an appeal last Friday (5th) against the decision by the municipal administration to close down the club for a year. This appeal will be heard during the weekly Town Hall meeting on Friday (12th), and a final decision will be made then. However, this may not be the last hope for the proprietor as he could also appeal to the High Court, a process which could delay the closure by years.
The bar was forced to close for a total of two months this summer due to drug offences. They re-opened on 18th August having served their punishment, but were reported on the same day for noise pollution and exceeding the 63 person capacity of the bar. A new investigation was opened, one which could now lead to the closure of the popular bar for twelve months.

i was there 1st Sept matey and it certainly wasnt house music .... a bit more minimal blast off techno!!! but not minmal .....
