DC-10 peak time

Dc10 is and always will be , about the day time for me , the less people there the better . Just got to teach these kids to dance a bit more when it's less busy !

I always to DC10 around 10:30-11ish and then head to cocoon around 3-4am. I think it works well IMO. ;)

Agree! I still think people rush to Cocoon too early (though I appreciate sometimes you have to if there are some heavy hitters on early)!

I've had some of my best times in Circo Loco from 12-3AM over last few years.

funny you say that. I for one love to go to cocoon early, I just love to see how the night develops and the vibe awakens. on the other hand it's obviously true that the late hours at dc10 are mostly the climax. it's a dilemma!! :)

You're right..... it is a dilemma! And to contradict what I just said, getting to Cocoon early and watching the Terrace fill up is pretty amazing I'll agree. especially when the volume notches up! Suppose you have to take a view in terms of who is playing. Last Cocoon I did was the one with Josh Wink (mid-sept), and I was NOT missing him so had to leave Circo about 1AM... and damn glad I did!

I prefer to go to DC10 early doors too. There is so much more room to dance and I like it when its still day time :)

Thankfully we are all different. I've said this many time before - but I still just don't get the daytime thing, and that's a very rare thing to say on here. I think it's because I only got into Ibiza (from a clubbing perspective) 2005+ so the daytime thing was almost over. When the Sun is up I want to be sunbathing, swimming in the sea getting more of a tan and generally just being OUT. Now I totally GET outdoor clubbing but as the sun is setting and it gets dark! Dancing on the beach at night is perfection. I personally think Ushuaia doesn't work until the sun starts setting....and the lighting effects start creating a different mood and atmosphere.

Planning on going to the opening, know it's going to be absolutely packed... But is there a time where it's at its busiest? And what time will it usually go on till?

the opening normally carries on until pretty late, like 5am or so. I'd say it's busiest between 9pm and 2am. go early for the opening, outdoor floor will be open and rocking from early I'm pretty sure!

I know we all bang on about how busy Circo is, but what are the most comfortable dates? I only usually make it to one Circo in June (about 2nd week) and that is pretty roomy. I assume all of June is less crowded - though finishes a little earlier?

One of the quietest I have ever seen it was "Monsoon Monday" (last Monday of August in 2013). I think the rain /thunder scared people off and resulted in perfect spread between rooms.

quietest dc10 dates are always the 2-3 mondays right after the opening. then it starts picking up towards the end of june.

sometimes you get a quiet-ish monday in september, but never as quiet as at the start of june.

I much prefer it at the start of june, comfortable and always feel the crowd is alot more clued up. Nothing worse than being on an already overcrowded dancefloor and some muppet is next to you trying to shuffle.

agreed, I love the june mondays at dc10. I know a good few people that only go to dc10 on these dates because it's not as packed. also, june 2014 saw some ridiculously good lineups.

I usually get to 4 or 5 a season, but not sure I have ever been to Circo Loco Mid-July to Mid-August. I have a fear of Ibiza around that time anyway, and Circo Loco I can imagine is near breaking point!

That's why Monday is so special ;) it's the only day we do it when we are there. Most other days consist of beach, sea, pool, chilling.....maybe head to a beach party as the sun starts setting like you said. Not a fan of Ushuaia day or night.

Went circo loco last year end of sept it was the ngt of luciano origins closing. We got there pretty early around 5pm as we had tickets for cocoon to see origins closing. I remember it was raining pretty heavy that day and i was worried numbers would be down due to the bad weather. I neednt of worried as what i experienced that ngt blew me away. We arrived just as tania volcano was finishing her set in the rain to a handfull of people outside. It was a pretty uplifting set and dancing in the rain added something to it. Ellen alien took over and carried on where volcano left off with more up tempo tracks as the garden filled up. I dont know if it was just me but the rain seemed to create a great atmosphere. Like everyone just thought f*** it lets go for it! We was able to see dc10 fill up from almost being empty. We made our way to the main room cant remember who was on but it was a lot harder than outside and it was starting to get dark. Then we went to the terrace and thats where i had probably the best 6 hours clubbing ive had for a long time. dan ghenacia, seth troxler, davide squillace and dyed soundorom had the place buzzing. Met a great group of girls and guys from canada that ngt and we all just clicked. Those moments when a tune drops and you look at each other and nod with a smile in appreciation as you feel the tingle down you spine and hair stands on end. the occasional high five or arm round the shoulder to say i love you. You know those moments you can only really get when the dj is on point and there is no where else in the world youd rather be. I only wish i could remember the track dyed soundorom played towards the end maybe even the last track of the ngt. It had some incredible female vocals that sent all the arms in the air!

Because of the above we arrived at cocoon around 5. I actually really enjoyed lucianos set even though it was a bit loop heavy. Some of my friends said it was far to repetitive but i love cocoon and even if the music is off i think it attracts a great crowd

This was a common complaint last season! If the return to Pacha rumours are true, hopefully we'll get more of a Luciano sound of a few years back (but then some people moaned about that being repetitive too).

Suppose all depends just how much you get off over the day-time thing! Personally I'm a man of the night (I have things to hide). Give me the Terrace just after sun-set when the red walls start glowing and the temperature rises even more...
Things to hide eah ha , just dont hide them where the scousers hide theirs, especially in those hills ha ha
