Hello everybody,

Thanks for sharing the info. Do you know if they still run weekly Music On afterhours at Cova Santa? Or is it over or only for special occasions.

firstly it was never weekly. they did two so far this year (one after the opening and then again two weeks later). currently no events are happening at cova santa after the sound system/venue had been sealed. let's see what happens there in the next few weeks.
 
what I don't get is that everyone talks about the club 'mafia' in Ibiza... well as Cova is owned by Amnesia wouldn't it be logical that due to them being part of the club mafia they could manage to keep the place open?

seems like the problem is pre-announcing the events there. The Carola parties were not, correct?

no and no.

the way I understand it is this (and I might be wrong - this is no confirmed statement/info!), CS basically does have the necessary licence to hold events like they do. BUT even they have to abide to the rules - which means they have to respect the opening hours and the sound limits. on both carola afterparties there were complaints because of too loud music volume. the venue did not have a sound limiter and that was one of the conditions so they could continue doing events. then they did the luciano thing, there was no sound limiter - venue sealed, simple as that. the same thing actually happened to destino last year at their nicolas jaar gig, but as things go slow here, they were only 'punished' for their closing party which happened after the cocoon closing afters (it had nothing to do with the cocoon afters even though many people think so).
 
it seems to be a difficult year to come to an official after party without the beach clubs in playa d'en bossa

I know I was actually gonna go to music on.. But will give it a miss, have a sleep and go to the "afters"

very curious whether that goes down as planned today. if so it's obvious that it really is just club politics and possible bribery if music on can do parties and other promoters get their music sealed. isn't capriati from napoli? :twisted:

Something very strange seems to be happening. How come one party can go ahead yet all others are stopped? Was really looking forward to Diynamic Outdoor at Cova Santa. Authorities are killing off some of the best parties
 
Was koennt ihr so empfehlen in Playa d'en Bossa?? Ausser "BoraBora" maljetzt, kenne ich schon :)) gibts sonst gute Day Parties(Ushuaia kenne ich auch schon). Hoffe auf coole Tipps:))
