As he performed last year at a similar surprise set in Amsterdam, Dave Clarke will play an exclusive three decks & EFX set of mainly Hip Hop and Electro at Off_Corso in Rotterdam on Monday 26th January. The night is presented by Sound Architecture and is part of the 10-day International Film Festival Rotterdam being held in the city that week.

Sound Architecture are also responsible for bringing a special Electro night to the club the following Wednesday with a Lasergun label night featuring DJ's Savas Pascalidis, Water Lilly, Mr. Lovelace and live acts Autotune and Ural 13 Dictators - all weird guys dressed up with freaky masks and all that!

Dave Clarke is possibly my favourite dj. If you haven't seen him yet, why not?

I'm especially keen on the electro he's playing at the moment. If you want to find out more, check out his 'World Service' double cd and it'll have you drooling.

If you get a chance, go and see him.

I can promise you that you won't be disappointed!

as much as i love the man...he has got a big mouth on him. couldn't believe the comments he said about techno becoming too 'white', about the music losing its soul...when he's possibly the biggest culprit!!

some think he's jumping on the electro bandwagon, i read this article...

check this here also..u should all know the tune
space invaders are smoking grass by I.F. on dc's
electro boogie album...well dc always went on
about how he was the first to play it and how he
was in with electro from the start (again
bullshit but here we go)
ths is what den hagg from I.F. said in response
to his ramblings...
it's exploiting. I've read some interviews with
him in the press--Mr. Big Dick Electro. And he
gave the argument which I hate most: "I was
playing it in the beginning." [Makes gagging
sound]. I heard him at a party in Switzerland,
and I thought I was going to hear all this
exotic, I-was-there-in-the-beginning electro. It
was "boom boom boom" with some booty
house for ten minutes. He only played this
straight techno shit for two hours. What's that?
Saying one thing and doing another. He told me,
"But the audience likes it." I turned
my back and never spoke to him again. Nothing
will ever change if you lick the asses of the
audience! The audience likes it? The audience is
f***ing stupid! That's your chance at a big rave
to play different stuff. Mix it then at least
integrate something else. That was shocking to
me. And then doing two of these mixes and
bragging about how he was the first to play
"Space Invaders" in England. That makes
me sick."
