I notice that Danny Rampling and Simon Dunmore were playing last saturday @ Defmix, Pacha, in lieu of Frankie Knuckles. I also see that Knuckles has been replaced by David Morales at the Defmix closing 29th Sep, any reasons for the absence of Knuckles 2 gigs in a row?????

By the way did anyone see Rampling @ Defmix last saturday? Am gutted i missed it!!!!!!

yeah man i heard about that. i was on the cafe mambo website last friday nite and it was advertised that danny rampling was at mambo doing a pre-party for def mix that nite. thought it was quite strange seeing as knuckles and dunmore were on the bill for that evening.

is knuckles ok? family reasons maybe? :?:?:

Knuckles is still on for it on his myspace
Morales' myspace lists him elsewhere on that night

only the Def Mix myspace has Morales & Romero - possibly a slip when entering the data?
 
Frankie is quite old you know. He can hardly walk at times and misses now more gigs than he makes.

Morales' myspace has him at Stereo Montreal
but Stereo Montreal's website has other djs

it might be him after all at the final closing
