hey guys Im thinking about going to cream for thursday but i hear that it is trance (or house) and it is jam packed. I hear many good things about cream but last time I was at a rave in LA, ppl didn't do anything but hop up and down to the music which i consider stupid + a waste of time. Is Cream like that? Will there be any dancing between the guys + girls or is every1 js separately hopping up and down?

It's a rave. There's a lot of hopping.

If you're very good looking, rich or extra hip you should have no problem dancing with girls wherever you go.

If you're poor, ugly and/or unsophisticated try the West End of San Antonio.

dancers in ibiza

I was in Ibiza from June 14-23 and honestly I think every club I went to had people just hopping up and down.....It was really disappointing, I am a breaker and really thought that I would see some great dancers but it just didnt happen. So all I can say is, dont get your hopes up..

Dont get me wrong, I would never look down on someone else for how they dance, but I was really hoping to see some good dancers in Ibiza. I have been a breaker for about 7 years and I thought that I would see some people that I could really catch a few moves from, but that is not at all the style in Ibiza. Dont get me wrong, they play some good music in Ibiza, but dancing in a club there can make ya feel like a outcast if you do not do the "hop and bobble dancing" that pretty much eveyone else does. I was at the WLS opening party and I swear people were looking at me like I had Ebola since I was not dancing like most of the other people

I've been to Europe several times and I feel like it is like that everywhere. We call it the euro dance. I'm not saying EVERYONE dances like that but alot do. I live in NY and I feel like dancing is more showy and with alot of different styles and techniques. My friends and I feel like after we come back from overseas we start doing the "euro dance" un intentionally, it's pretty funny! Just my opinion, I don't want anyone going ape **** on me cause of my comments.

Oh no...
I've been abroad too long.
I've lost my American individualism....
I DO THE "HOP & BOBBLE EURO DANCE"!!!
8O 8O 8O :? :? :?   ;) ;) ;)

wow!!! shock horror!!!

the reason there is no breakdancing in most of ibiza's clubs is the same reason you don't get people doing the foxtrot at breakdancing events:roll:

i totally understand what you're talking about...i'm from california, and when i was in amsterdam last spring at club xl, and everyone was doing the "hop and bobble" in sync. they were staring at me like there was something wrong with me.

Ok, maybe I'm just naive, but I really don't care how someone is dancing in the club as long as they're having fun and contributing to the good vibes. I'll go dancing with a bunch of epileptics as long as they are enjoying themselves and adding to the atmosphere. That being said...I think I'll be working on some kind of new seizure dance over the next few weeks.....

this thread reminds me of an mtv show in the nineties called "the grind"

Oh yes! The grind was quite hilarious, people dancing outdoors and trying to look good. Then some lousy dj played some dance remix of Whitney Houston's songs

As an addition to "moonwalking" and "breakdancing", I'd suggest doing the robot or going all the way and kicking it Hammer-Style, including those really cool trousers he used to wear

Or we could do the robot dance like Peter Crouch HAHAHHAHA!

One more thing with regards to this thread.. the only reason people dont break (if im thinking of it as in breakdancing... is because the clubs are so jam packed, any boon trying to breakdance would be taking up too much floor space....
