Credit cards on the island??

coming to ibiza for the first time this summer and can't wait. want to know how widely accepted credit cards are, specifically american express. i prefer to not carry a lot of cash on me when i travel and funds are tight! can you charge club entrance fees? drinks at beach bars/clubs? food at markets? food at local restaurants ( not the extremely high end ones that is). thanks for the any help you can give.

no not entrance to clubs don't think so anyway

dangerous to put a card behind any bar in ibiza i reckon

but plenty of holes in walls to take out money as u go along
