I do think sacrificing trance on two peak Thursdays, between the beginning of August and beginning of September will piss a lot of trance people off who were maybe planning on visiting at that time. I agree with Macdonsj there could have been more variety.

i'm no trance fascist, but if they're pissed off cos they have deadmau5 in one room and prydz in the other, then i guess there is no pleasing some people!!

i don't really think variety is a strong point of any nights in ibiza (save we love and carl cox maybe).

in fact, most nights in ibiza aren't like cream, instead they are built around 1 or 2 main DJs - armin, roger, guetta, morillo, swedes, luciano, sven, ricardo, tiesto.
 
Cream was not always historically trance anyhow. Mid to late 90's it was house all the way.

Let Prydz and Dedm5 crank it up in both rooms. Nothing worng with losing a few glowsticks, and english with polo shirts on giving it the "woop8Owooops"!!!
 
deadmau5 live in there will be quality. i'm not big fan really of him but appreciate why people do but in there with that laser show will be good.
 
Going to be there for the closing, so I'm very curious to hear trance in the terrace and more house in the main room.
i wonder if PvD will change his set when he plays in the terrace...

I agree with Grego about Pridz. Saw him at Matter few weeks ago and he was brilliant.
 
Cream DJ times????

I know we've been given the dj line ups for the summer but can anyone tell me who was in cream last year roughly what time the likes of gareth wyn/other residents would come on at? start? finish?
 
Cream closing last year Gareth Wynn played from half 12 till 2, then PVD played from 2 till 5 then Eddie Halliwell finished off from 5-7.

When I went to Cream end of June it was John O Callaghan 12.30 - 2, Sander Van Doorn 2-4, Freddie Corsten 4-6 and Giuseppe Ottaviani 6-7.

This should give you some idea.

Laidback Luke 12-2
Eric Prydz 2-5
Gareth Wyn 5-7

Can't really get into prydz as I think he's too progressive but think cream maybe my only option for a trance night as im only over thurs - sun.

Wish DJ Times played some mind-blowing Trance!!!!!!!!

I think it will probably be Gareth Wyn 12.30 - 2, Prydz 2-5 and Laidback Luke to finish off.

That's the reason i go to ibiza for the trance nights cream is legendary i will defo be going this year can't wait cream, judgement sundays and armin woohoo :)
 
I'm there for 3 weeks late aug/early sep and think the cream line ups are amongst the strongest in that time. Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz on the same bill? Count me in!!

Ps. I doubt less trance DJs means their budgets are lower. I think they are just responding to a shift in music trends. Deadmau5 and Prydz are two of the biggest names around at the moment...
