Cream Ibiza Opening Party
Possible Change Of Venue for Opening Party

It has been announced that Amnesia will be closed during the month of June. It is unlikely but yet not confirmed that Cream's scheduled opening party on Thursday 21st June will not be held within Amnesia. But we can confirm that we already have an alternative venue on hold if Amnesia fails to win a reprieve.

Further details will be announced but once again we can reassure you that there will be a Cream Opening Party on Thursday 21st June in Ibiza.

they have Monza starting this week

after enticing them from Space i doubt that they would bin them for a temporary Cream gig

Xtravaganza & Spin Club wouldn;t be affected if Cream went to Space as there are 2 free thursdays before those nights start
 
Its defo at Privilege as i have a friend out there that tex me this morning stating that there are posters up around san an stating that the opening of coccon and cream is at privilege, weather or not they continue the partys there untill Amnesia reopens is another thing. Hope they do though.
 
Not sure how Darren Hughes would feel about having Cream in Space...

Could be Eden with Twice as Nice in the back Room?

that being the case i would be a very pissed off Monza promoter
 
Yer you would be pritty pissed off but lets face it, who would really go to another night when you have the possability to go to cream on a thursday? Privilege will make enough cash off the back of this hole thing!

a lot of people would go to the Monza night - excellent line-ups, cracking music

my point is that Privilege for years relied on Manumission and the majority of the rest of their week was flim flam

they have finally gotten a damn good roster of nights and imo it would be crazy to bump one for 1/2 cream parties

Thats very true, it woul dhave made more sense to have cream at space, as its free up untill the point were the closure of Amnesia finnishes lol
 
I'd agree with MacDons. Privilege would be mad to upset Monza so early, at the start of what could be a great year for them.

Space is the most likely option... but Darren Hughes has a lot of pull there.

Maybe Amnesia will take the time to clean up the venue... It's in need of a makeover (the main room anyway).

People like me ;) I already got my ticket for Monza's opening. I'd be reeeeeaaaaaaaaaally disappointed if it got cancelled in favour of an average night such as Cream...
 
I don't think this is correct.The cocoon @ privilege posters have been up for a few days but i haven't seen any promotion for Cream yet.I have a friend high up in the Cream chain of command - even though we're mates, he's remaining very tight lipped about it all. I do know that he's got a headache with promoting (and selling tickets for !) an event with no confirmed location. Now unless the promotion has all gone out today (i've been at home all day !!!) then I also would doubt that Privilege would put on Cream in place on Monza. My money is on Space too, i really cannot see any other alternative that makes sense ?I'm just pleased that they do have an alternate location for the opening :)Cheers,Dan
