Cream Ibiza 2015

Full On at Space was very quiet. The trance room at Cream was busy 2-4am but I've seen it worse. Not sure how ASOT is doing this year?

[i moved a few posts to keep "tell us how it was" on topic... we can continue with the cream-y conversation here!]

How's Eric Prydz doing this season so far? I'm keen to pop into one of his sets.... But literally will just be for him. The rest ain't my thing... What's his normal set time?

I've only seen him once and then he was on fire. generally seems to be in great form. I think he normally plays 3-5 ish.

Thanks! Not sure I'll be able to do Eric then Sven in Space on 27/08 then.. I'm guessing Sven will be 0400-Close in Space that night...

This night have not really been busy all season long. Full on never really have but again it has never been a "big night" and hell you can probably get in very cheap or for free some nights. Cream have been a "huge night" earlier where you barely could walk around in the club.

Probably a combination of things such as people really wanting the bignames on the terrace. But i also think that trance are getting trouble with regrowth at the same time as new events popup and compete for a relative small crowd.

PVD is getting older and having showing signs of not being able to carry this night. Trance fans are not all to sold on A&B either. Future is going to be interesting and expect some changes toward next season.

I would rate my two nights as content for one and dissapointed for the other.

Sad to here this even if I do not do much trance these days. Cream was one of the first parties I've ever attended on the island before Enter had even started and it was buzzing. Agree that PVD cannot carry the night any longer and A&B have gone too far away from their former sound in my opinion to make most people interested (I for one loved them and just cannot bare to listen to their newer music). Hopefully they can make some improvements next go around.

chris I think kline meant full on in the text you quoted, not cream.

as for cream - some packed dates, some weaker ones. of course it has to do with calvin harris' absence to a degree, but also the general saturation of club nights. plus, trance isn't growing really. pvd and a&b are still the biggest names - it shouldn't be that way. there are a few new names, but none of them gets really big. the way I see it, young/new artists currently only break through if they play either EDM or then techno / tech house

How has the terrace worked for Cream this season? Busy for Sasha, Mark Knight, Prydz?

Do we think they'll throw money at the Las Vegas EDM DJs again next year: Calvin Harris, Angello, LBL?

the dates with prydz were certainly the busiest ones yeah.

let's see about the programming for '16...

I went to Cream back in July and after 13 Years of Visiting Amnesia for Cream this year I certainly noticed there was plenty more space to move around and dance. It also emptied out earlier than other years. Still an amazing night and crowd, nicely busy but deffinitly noticing a chance

Any idea if they are using the Terrace DJ box tomorrow or stage?

Found it unbearable when stage is used and they have that choke point of the doors between rooms. Might swing my decision of what to do
