If it's anything like the last couple of years you'll have to get there the day before the Radio 1 party and cue (for about 6 hours) at mambos just to get a wristband which entitles you to a ticket. Then you have to go and cue again at Mambos for about an hour to actually get the ticket the day after. It is worth it though the party is pretty epic.
Dont do what I did though and loose your ticket once you've got it
Luckily I was outside Ushuaia and someone was selling another one but I had to pay 60 euro ha ha

The Cream at Privilege event is one where you can buy tickets in advance of the event like any other.
The Ushuaia one was free and you have to apply in advance through the Radio 1 website. If you were selected you had to go to the Ushuaia shop in San An (there was somewhere in PdB too) and show your confirmation printout plus ID (were pretty strict on this) and you'd get a wristband.
They did give out some more the day before at Mambo and they were giving them out for free outside Ushuaia in the end too.

yes we will. tickets go on sale today 5pm UK time and the line up follows later.
So you queued for 7 hours for a free ticket, lost it then bought one outside for 60 euros?
Basically yea ha ha. The 6 hours went pretty quick though everyone was just off it having a right good time.
I did it the year before as well, brought a ticket for the Radio 1 party at Priviledge, lost it, brought another one, left that in the taxi and then ended up paying on the door, cost me about 150 euro in total get in ha ha.
Yea I believe that's what they started doing last year. It's just complete luck now whether you get one or not. Having said that if you really wanted to get in you could hang around outside Ushuaia and hope you see soemone selling a ticket, you always get the odd person who has one spare.
