It basically means you get a little more space to move around although how much more is questonable for Cream. You won't be packed shoulder to shoulder like on the floor...

Take note the drinks are at least 3 euro more expensive up there...

Hi Ryan,

The balcony and VIP areas can get busy but are never too busy to not enjoy. They are particularly great to chill for a bit and look over either the terrace or main room dancefloors. It´s a quite a view from up there too !

I was there last Thursday for Ze German who played a four hour set and it was fine on the main floor. Enough room for everyone and i was still suprised at how many people were there at 6am. There must of still been about 2-2500 people left.

Did it end bang on 6am?

Always had great times at Cream Ibiza, its soooo much better than clubbing UK.. it can be busy, but it peaks and you get the dance floor space later, there are places to find your space.

Was there when it was at Ku, it wasn't the same 'club' vibe - I did have good times, but music has changed and the intensity works in Amnesia's atmostphere best.

Hey when Cream was at Amnesia I saw Mike Pickering, John Pleased Wimmin ended the night with Faithlesses remix of Donner Summer - I feel love... that is still a winning tune!.. see the sun rise at .. 8am.. who'd let clubs run that late these days! think I've got the ticket somewhere ... stored in my collection with B.T. live at Renaissance Pacha with John Digweed.. he played a version of Strings of Life which was baleric as you get - wish I could find it.

I have been to Cream on Thursday's for the last 3 years now and it has varied for me really. The 1st year was Tiesto and it was rammed but i cant remember it being uncomfortable, there is always somewhere else to stand :) the year after that it was RAMMED and ROASTING, 2 of my mates couldnt stand it so we left at 3am :( it sucked leaving that early(never again!). Last year we where there in August for PVD's album launch and it was fine :) im going to Amnesia 3 times this August....should be interesting on the Radio 1 weekend :/

Nah, he ran to about 6.25am. Quite funny actually, PVD played the seven nation army riff on one of his keyboards and he started something off which actually got quite annoying at the end of my holiday. Everywhere I went people were singing that riff right through to the monday.

Damn you PVD lol:twisted:

Were you there in '06? The Italians were singing it non stop everywhere- It was their anthem when they won the World Cup!

I was there for Cocoon nite and it was unbearable! the balcony was the only area where you could actually stand/breath, that was the worst nite i've had there last year! If gets too packed this aug. @Cream then the balcony is the only place you could find refuge!

are people still singing that?!?!

Copied and pasted from my reply on another thread a couple of weeks ago...

"Funnily enough, this time last week we were sitting in our apartment in Jet when all I could hear was this cacaphony coming from the balcony across from us. I looked out and there was about 10 of them jumping up and down, screaming at the top of their voice, banging on the windows etc etc. It went on for about 15 minutes. Now that I think about it, it was a noisey out of tune, beer fuelled rendition of Seven Nation Army.

So it's still going in 2008."

I don't think it's going away for a while yet! I can remember being in Space in '06 just after the world cup finished and Carl Cox played the original White Stripes - 7 Nation Army as his last tune of the night- It sent the crowd absolutely bananas! 8O

And it went a little something like this... :)
