Coventry Airport Question

Yeah just hoped I would of heard by now i'm starting to think that we'll have to find and pay for our own! (that'll be the beach for me!!!)

Of course they will sort it for you , is there any way you can contact them to express your anxiety?

Im sure theres some sort of legal jargon that they are legally bound to sort it out for you if that was stated as the competition prize.

Mambs.... DEFINATELY not currency exchange there! 8O  It's barely got fully functioning toilets let alone a currency desk. Change all your money beforehand so you wont get caught out.

Re: arriving early. I suggest you and Joey get there a couple of hours before the flight, park your car and check in if you can (if not leave your cases in your boot). Check whether your flight is on time, what time boarding is etc, Then either get a cab or walk (I think its only about 10mins away) to the local pub. Then maybe have a nice pub lunch, few drinks etc and wait for your flight to board!

Dont think we're exaggerating when we say it's like 2 portakabins... it really is!

I managed to find a computerised pic of it online....

There's a bar in the airport though isn't there?????

Mambs: when will you be there? I'm flying out on Saturday 1920.

Not a bar as such. There's a waiting room in Departures which has a kiosk that sells bottles of beer and wine, but that's it! You're not allowed to smoke in there, and there's no windows so it gets really hot. It's basically a waiting room. And you can't go in there until you've gone through the departure gates, so you only ever get about 30mins in there anyway until you board your plane.

You can take the time to browse through the duty free section too (basically a shelf with a bottle of anais anais and cool water next to the magazines)

Honestly though it's fine, I know i've mentioned in previous posts I wasn't keen on flying from there, but I am a moaning bint so please ignore ;)

It has crap facilities.... BUT if you want a hassle free flight with no waiting, holdups, rude staff, delayed flights and trillions of people running everywhere, then Coventry airport is for you! It's so relaxed there, I swear all the staff members are from one family lol  By the time we left there we were on first name terms with everyone who worked there

Seriously, I'd fly from there any day over any of the big airports. ;)

I'm sure it'll be fine. I've flown from Bournemouth before & that really was just a portacabin!
I'm assuming the car park is in walking distance of the terminal then?

Guess where I fly from next Friday night?

Good Luck! ;)

I could be stuck there for hours too! I fly at 22.25 but I'm worried about Friday evening traffic so, as my office is at the bottom of the M1, I'm gonna leave about 3 or 4 to avoid it. If I make good time I'l be in that 'departure lounge' for hours!
