Any news if it means schools are closed or is it like lockdown #2?
Just if schools are open it's going to need to be at least 6 weeks, as #2 only slowly brought numbers down over 4 weeks. ?
It should be schools shut, but I am not sure if Boris ego can take a u-turn when was on TV yesterday and this morning defending it.
That said Little Krankie north of the border moved early (on a bank holiday) to shut all schools & nurseries etc so did she know it was coming and get in there early, or is it another reason for Boris not to go that far so he looks like a strong leader

I still can't believe we haven't locked our borders completely. Aus, NZ, USA, Most of Asia have done so since March, yet we're still more than happy for transit passengers, or people jetting off on holidays to COVID hotspots and coming back, just being 'reminded' to quarantine.

The USA has remained open more or less... we closed to the EU back when Italy was on fire. Most of the limitations to travel have been imposed on us!!! ?

Just gave stats for numbers in hospital. Boxing day was 18k, a week later its 26k.
Even if some are catching it in hospital, that's a pretty sharp growth curve. Where will it be in another weeks time ?
