In the UK there's talk of that, a general lockdown immediately after Xmas, a tier 3+ (wtf that is??) and this new strain of covid which spreads quicker than news of a zeleb's plastic tit transplant.
We - the public - simply don't know where we are, what to do, how long we'll be in this mess, which was all but sorted in mid-August. Someone needs to Get A Grip.

Notice also Spain's had a bit of a new wave, Netherlands is critical, Belgium doing not-so-bad.
 
south east and other areas set to be put into Tier 4 it looks. and rest of the country the Christmas rules are due to be tightened

can see a lot of upset people with todays news outcome but can also see a large majority not change their plans. shits about to get bumpy

He and the other two stooges Mancock and Rich Tea, are trying to keep everyone happy. They cannot carry on like this, its unfair. Should have just made it the same (No Tiers) for everyone with more simple rules.
Christmas never needed to go ahead, what a farce. He just wants to please all the people all the time, its clearly political.
I doubt he will backdown over Christmas, the fallout of that will be a much stricter and longer UK/English Lockdown into 2021.
WhoTF is going to Police this relaxation in lockdown rules, its a free for all. I live in a culdesac of 20 house. At least 15 of these do minor breaches of the current rules on a weekly basis.

If they say xmas is cancelled many peeps with just ignore it. Think is reason they made exceptions in first place to manage that so not complete disaster (loads households and peeps mixing etc)

You're right, and they know that will be exactly what people will do.
If the festive rules are changed the government wlll just try and shift the blame back on to the public to try and cover for the failings and misjudgement on their part.
 
More worrying is those who will be in tier 4 if they have holidays (abroad) planned as I understand this will now be not allowed (unsure if this is a legal restriction or a strong advice recommendation).

I agree with what others are saying though, its too late to make such changes as most will be doing what they want as plans will have been made.
 
Xmas day (1 day) for the rest. Tbf me and brother and parents had planned it to just be that anyhow. We also been trying to reduce our risk by not going out etc for week leading to xmas.

Wonder how long after xmas rest move to tier 4?
 
Well, Ive just had to deal with one very upset daughter who was due to travel home from London this Monday.
I've booked her on a train out of there for this evening or she will end up stranded and on her own for 2 weeks (min).

They are fckn clueless privileged twonks. Please let someone normal run the country for once.
