Cooling systems in the clubs...

Should I expect Hell type heat at some of these clubs in August??? Or are the clubs good at keeping things cool? I know clubs here in NYC can get pretty bad during the hottest days of the summer. Just wondering what will be appropriate attire for the clubs. I usually wear jeans/pants...not sure if this will be a good idea or if I should take some time during the next couple of weeks to buy a couple of more shorts for night wear :)

in August it's HOT!

and the clubs all have useless AC!

i don't ever wear jeans clubbing in august!

yes, in my experience most of the clubs are incredibly hot especially when packed, but I can't cope with heat as much as the average person can

the heat in manumission is unbearable

yes for manumission you need to wear a top or vest that doesn't show sweat patches! no amount of anti-p can help you!

it may look a bit camp but investing in one of the spanish fans that they sell at the clubs is the only way i've found to stop myself having a heatstroke in these clubs. as most of the clubs i go to have some sort of outdoor area , air-con is useless. Space has large fans on the back of the terrace but the real estate near themis very difficult to use as everyone wants to be in those areas .

I think i may have to invent some sort of personal air conditioning shirt and a pair of pants with built-in fans for space this year .... last year was ridiculously hot ...

I thought Cream at Amnesia was the worst last year, unbearable until like 7am then not too bad as much of the crowd had gone

IMO theres not much temperature difference between cream and manumission but manumission still gives me a reason to go, stay and sauna!

I always have a fan, but then i'm a little camp anyway! pick yourself up a more funky one from the hippy market!!

I always describe it this way... I'm the biggest trance fan ever and I had to leave in the middle of Paul Van Dyk's set because it was so hot in Amnesia for Cream. Unbearable.
