............this has got to be one of them, The Orange Corner, San Antonio Bay.

Fronty was there on Saturday with HCIYH playing Dirty Electro House. I was there DJing the pre-party for M'n2S at El Divino on the Sunday night playing 4 hours of Funky House;

Nice faderfox ;)
Thanks Mark, it's the new DJ2 version that came out in March, love it. It's optimised for Tractor DJ Studio 3 and works beautifully with it. Just have to be a little careful, everything is so compact and buttons so close together. But, the beauty is, it all went as hand luggage on the flight. 8)

I just got myself a m-audio trigger finger - 4 faders and 8 assignable knobs for ableton, plus drum pads for programming percussion or triggering clips. I LOVE it :D

wow! i've never seen Orange Corner so busy.......

That's cos everyone's in Space

Shame really that MN2S is on Sundays cos some of the line-ups are excellent but it's never going to be able to compete with Space :?

True... some of the MN2S line-ups look fantastic... shame, really. It's a different style than what you'd here at Space at that hour, but people rarely migrate.

In any case, good on you, Les, for getting yourself a gig at their pre-party on such short notice.

soulman, why don't you try and plug for it to be one of your 'residencies'.......you could make it a fortnightly residency if weekly was too much of a commitment.;)

He's already got a Sunday night gig :spank:

(though maybe you should try to find a mid-week residency, Les... tell them your pay would be one roundtrip EasyJet ticket per week ;))

Can I be nosey and ask you if the FX Joystick is any good?

Cheers

Cool! I use the Evolution UC33 for Abelton, although, I haven't played with Abelton for ages. Found Traktor more useful for 'normal' deejaying.

Ha ha! Actually it was very busy, but, they were all watching the football on a big screen just to my right. But hey, I'm not gonna turn a gig like that down now am I? :? I was just there for fun and experience anyway. :D

Firstly 'cos there's already residents been working in there for a few years, Sean Hughes and Jamie Gittings. :?
Secondly, as in most of Ibiza, the money is crap. In the bars the DJ's get the same as the barstaff, minimum wage we're talking here! 8O About the same as working in McD's. 8O Most of the DJ's supplement their DJ income by making and selling mix CD's! :? It's only those 'name' DJ's at the highest level in the nightclubs that are making any real money. :(

Well, yeh, already got residencies Fri, Sat, Sun and make a good living on 10 1/2 hours per week! ;)

The mid-week residency and round trip ticket is a great idea John, but, looking at what they pay above I don't think it's feasable. But, I'm up for it if they wanna do that. :p

Played with it a little, but, I don't find it useful at all, never use it 'live'.
