I just got myself a m-audio trigger finger - 4 faders and 8 assignable knobs for ableton, plus drum pads for programming percussion or triggering clips. I LOVE it
Cool! I use the Evolution UC33 for Abelton, although, I haven't played with Abelton for ages. Found Traktor more useful for 'normal' deejaying.

wow! i've never seen Orange Corner so busy.......
Ha ha! Actually it
was very busy,
but, they were all watching the football on a big screen just to my right.
But hey, I'm not gonna turn a gig like that down now am I?

I was just there for fun and experience anyway.

soulman, why don't you try and plug for it to be one of your 'residencies'.......you could make it a fortnightly residency if weekly was too much of a commitment.
Firstly 'cos there's already residents been working in there for a few years, Sean Hughes and Jamie Gittings.
Secondly, as in most of Ibiza, the money is crap. In the bars the DJ's get the same as the barstaff, minimum wage we're talking here!

About the same as working in McD's.

Most of the DJ's supplement their DJ income by making and selling mix CD's!

It's only those 'name' DJ's at the highest level in the nightclubs that are making any real money.

He's already got a Sunday night gig
(though maybe you should try to find a mid-week residency, Les... tell them your pay would be one roundtrip EasyJet ticket per week

)
Well, yeh, already got residencies Fri, Sat, Sun and make a good living on 10 1/2 hours per week!
The mid-week residency and round trip ticket is a great idea John, but, looking at what they pay above I don't think it's feasable. But, I'm up for it if they wanna do that.

Can I be nosey and ask you if the FX Joystick is any good?
Played with it a little, but, I don't find it useful at all, never use it 'live'.
