convince me its still good... or not!

I am still working on trying to get a friend to come with me..(but its pretty doubtful) but as you said.. its nice to be able to go out and do EXACTLY what you want, when you want.. (and if I`m paying that much to get into a club, I am pretty picky!)


Now just to search for accomodation.
If I was going with a friend I`d stay in that area but I`m presuming San Antonio would and easier place to meet up with people and get cheaper accomodation..
then again.. I really want to go to Space, DC10, We love Sundays..Bora Bora (and anything techno!! :D ) which are all in the Playa area.. and from the comments on this forum, it seems like a better area to stay in

time for me to start deciding!
 
Nice to see someone else who likes techno!

I feel I constantly have to explain to people why I go to ibiza as they imagine it as some hell-hole filled with people puking in the streets and getting into fights. Bar one street in San An (and that's only at night), you won't see any of that.

Ibiza is regarded as one of the most gorgeous islands in the Med and if you explore the Northern parts, you can have beaches all to yourself and see the real Ibiza! Ibiza is very trendy and cosmopolitan in fact. In terms of price, it's as cheap or expensive as you want it to be. Of course some people will say to need hundreds of pounds to have a good time, but this is not the case.

Techno is really well represented this year, when I'm going (see my signature) we've got Ben Sims, Chris Liebling, Dj Hell, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Miss Kittin, Sven Vath, Antony Rother (Live), Funk D'Void to name just some so it's a pretty incredible selection!

Trust me, it's well worth going. When I first went in 2002, I had similar reservations to you, but felt that as you're only young once, I might give it a go and if it turned out to be awful, then at least I'd given it a go...now I go back every year!
 
You have to go. You will meet people, clubs, music, but thats not the most important fact. The most important fact is that you will meet with yourself. You will do things you had ever done, you will act as someone different, because you will be free in all the ways which you are usually not.

Yeah, like most people say, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!!!
 
Just go! Go & experience it for yourself.

Yes you will see kids puking up in street, but that isn't the be all & end all of Ibiza. There is something for everyone.

I'm 30, and I'm going to Ibiza for the 4th year on the trot (04-09-04).
My stay this year will integrate, clubbing, sunbathing, tom foolery, meeting up with other spot lighters, bars, chills, dining out, sight seeing, island hopping to Formentera, exercise, & so much more and only 2 weeks to do it in ;)

Tip: avoid the lucky lucky men & women like the plague!
