Constant Cold :o(

Is anyone else finding it really hard to shake off the cold/flu feeling at the moment? I feel like I've had a cold for about two months! The minute I feel a bit better, I go out and the symptoms return. I don't think it helps that Jon and me are probably passing the germs to and from eachother, and the minute one of us is ok, the other one catches a cold again

My immune system must be low but I don't know why, I eat healthily, lots of fruit and veg, I try and exercise and I haven't been out clubbing much at all lately!

Poor me

I have had a cold as long as I can remember! Constantly got the sniffles! I thought it was too much Dickie Davis but I have been eating well and taking it fairly easy! I got 2 kids so I must be picking up every little bug from them. Little scamps!

I'm sure it is to do with getting on the tube every day aswell, every morning I seem to be standing next to someone that's coughing and sneezing. Grrr!

yeah, this winter's been exactly the same for me - the worst in years for persistent coughs and colds. I think I've had about a week off them since mid-November, despite eating healthily and exercising regularly. I wonder whether it's because the rainy summer and relatively mild winter have enabled bugs to flourish.

If that's the case, global warming = permanent head cold. Lovely.

I felt like that just after Xmas Becki, I just couldnt shake it off, then everyone at work was the same, it was like you would get it, kind of get rid of it, talk to someone at work or like you say on the train/tube and you would feel grotty again.

Im finally over it now but there still seems to be a lot of it going around :spank:

I have been told that simple saline drops are the best thing for a runny nose. I cannot testify to that though, as when I had my bout of "man flu" a couple of weeks ago. i hid in bed for 3 days taking only nurofen cold & flu. It's just a legacy of winter, lots of people in confined spaces passing nasty germs onto one another...........you could always try the more scientific approach and never go out with your hair wet ;)

I actually shiver when I see people at the platform like that :lol:

Man flu, it's a killer. Women are so lucky they don't get it.

I use Actifed which dries up a runny nose and unblocks stuffed noses!! Amazing stuff!

I am bald! Unless you mean my chest hair??

would sooner have to do labour than have to have man flu twice a year!!!

I need a holiday

(Or a big steaming hot pie )

I have never felt healthier to be honest

3 days of feeling poo with cold before christmas but luckily it started on the Fri afternoon so went home early and was back at work on the Tuesday, other than that - I am bright eyed and bushytailed.

I certainly shouldnt be with my lifestyle but certainly not complaining..... 8)

I felt great until Sunday and since then I feel rubbish and it feels like my head is full of cotton wool and my throat is killing me to, I'm off on a long weekend to Krakow on Thursday where it's freezing cold apparantly, just what I need to make this Annoying cold even worse:( Although I'm sure a few vodka's will be consumed, purely for medicinal reasons!

Do you think going out running could have anything to do with it. I've been running 3 times a week lately, normally at lunchtimes, and it has been reeeeally cold the past few weeks. Maybe I should wait until the weather improves... :|
