Hi everyone! This is my first ever topic..woo!

Three of my girl mates and I are off to San Antonio for a week at the beginning of July this year for the first time!! :D

We're sooooo excited but also completely baffled - there seems to be so many good nights and things that we 'have to do'!! :?

So we could really do with some help! What are the best clubs to go to on each night and what are the things that us 'first-timers' HAVE to do??

We're staying at the Central Park apartments which is apparantly really close to the centre of everything in San An but we could do with some 'direction' before we go!!

Any help would be really appreciated!!

Thanks!! x x

best thing to do is search the site- it has a wealth of information, you will find everything you need to know ;)

I have had a good look at the site and it's relly good but I was also hoping for some personal recommendations of things to do cos there seems to be so much to take in?!

Thanks for the advice tho' - the site is v.helpful!

Hi Baby T

As you say there are lots of different things to do in Ibiza :P

It might be useful if you could tell us a bit more about wht you are looking for from your holiday, what kind of music you like etc. so that we can advise you a bit better. ;)

Well, as we finish our a-level exams the week before (arghhh!) we really wanna let our hair down and have an absolutely mad week!! :D

Music wise - we're up for anything really - if you can dance to it then its good enough for us!!

We'd really appreciate some ideas of places other than the 7 or so main clubs as well. Thanks!

Hi BabyT

Well - as you probably know from reading the stuff on this site, San Antonio is the place with all the bars that lots of the Brits go to. Its not really my scene (as I'm a bit old now ;) ) but if you're a load of single girls out for a giggle then it might be your thing for a night out.

You also defo need to check out the sunset strip in San An bay and drink a nice cool beer whilst watching the sun go down.

Club wise - everyone has their own opinions, but I would say that the two things you defo have to do are 1) go to Pacha. Last year most nights they had on were pretty good, so I'd look at whats on closer to when you go and pick one of the nights that appeals most. Its a great venue with a wonderful roof terrace for chilling out.
2) Space on Sundays. Best experience in the world to dance the afternoon away in the sunshine.

There are so many other nights and clubs to choose from, it really comes down to personal preference. The clubbing calander won't be available for another 2 months or so.

I'm sure a lot of folk woukd agree that Ibiza is a real blend of wonderful bars, clubs, beaches and views.

Without being specific and in no particular order :

Do the sunset strip . . cafe del mar, savannah , coastline, mambo etc

Get in them clubs . . there are others than the Big 7 but as a first timer you should see Priviledge for its size and Space cos , well , its ace. As you are in San An and just want to party maybe Eden would be for you.

Go to some cool beaches . . from San An , Cala Gracionetta and Salada are ace and not too far. Cala Conta is reachable by bus

Hire a car . .get to the interior of the island and some of the coves youcan't really get to by bus. Cala D'Hort for a view of Es Vedra springs to mind.

Hope this helps.
