Coming back from Ibiza and returning to reality..

The thought of the anti climax being back in the uk that creeps around. Its a suffocating feeling, almost panic knowing although you get that freedom and taste if a beautiful place to look forward to, you have to come back. My partners worked for Royal Mail
Since he was 17 and he's 46 now; we are both in total agreement Ibiza us wheee we want to live and grow old together. He doesn't ever want to have to work again if he takes his EVR - i see the grey etched lines on his face cauaed by the utter fatigue of work and the stress that goes with it. In Ibiza he is like 20 yrs younger! I wish i had better words to help you feel better but every man has his dead end circle at some part of his life. Life is so very short and is gone so quickly, if you ever had any thoughts of living in Ibiza then do your research and fo for it. We drove to the farming part of the island and it was like a different world. Its all there, you just have to find it. Have a great trip ☀️
 
Got back yesterday early hours and chilled in the house all day tidying up and with the pets. On bus on way to work now and pretty ok about it all. It was our 3rd year running and I am back in Sept with the boys so should be good to keep me happy.

Best time was this year even tho I lost my wedding ring in the sea.

Other than that I love the place I can't imagine going back to the Caribbean or any other place for a holiday unless it's for a purpose such as a stag or wedding etc.

Yea I know how you feel. This will be my first and probably last double session year.

Until we buy a place out here one day which is the plan with my wife being Spanish.

That's gotta be half the battle there surely.
I f***ed up and ended up in hospital after 3 nights which was a kick in the nuts, as I'd been looking forward to this year's trip so much. I'm sitting here in work now pricing up 2 nights at the end of september haha.

Second day back and have been struggling to get my shit together mentally. Off work for rest of week which helps.

Honeymoon in September and we are definitely going to see a lot more of the island instead of Hotel room, Bora and clubs.

I've been every year since 1999, with a few years visiting the island twice. I've seen parts of the island change alot, from incredible Trance nights and space carry on's I first went to in 99' to watching bellends in vests and backward caps stumbling around with balloons hanging out of their mouths. The way I see it if you head out there to take what you personally want from the island it's still the greatest place on earth! I'll be there for the Clockwork Orange weekender in a 4 weeks, flying out on my own as my friends arn't into the scene any more, so i'm not going to miss out and male do sitting in pub gardens all summer long, i've saved the cash and booked a flight! well said mate, me and my bird will be there then and really only have 1 big night planned and that is clockwork orange cant wait

if your on you own mate you are more than welcome to hang with us for the night
