Colors @ Es Paradis

When they have ASOT, Cream ,Full on Ferry & Judgement Fridays to go up against within 7days and the same day as ASOT the options are going to be limited.
If they have the same DJs as any of the above people will be more likely to attend one of the more well known parties.

So I guess what I'm trying to say, what is the point in bothering at all with such weak line-ups?
 
i'd hazard a guess at their market is:

- people looking for a cheaper ticket
- people wanting to get to Es Paradis for a night
- people that don't venture beyond San Antonio
- people that decide last minute to hit a club

Richard Durand, Sean Tyas, Kyau & Albert, Tydi...I'd happily go and see all of those.
Better to have that than a random generic party like the water party etc
 
personally I think they should have tried to pair it up with the water party. all the novelty thrills and crowds the water party brings with a better soundtrack. Went to Colors last July and they seemed to be struggling for numbers, hard to imagine they'll do any better up against ASOT. too bad cause some of those line ups definitely look fun
 
Thanks for the listings Evolution, I'm not knocking any of the DJs individually but unless they're dishing out free tickets, I don't think this is going to be box-office gold. I don't know how many Finns go to Ibiza but in San Antonio I'd have thought it would be better to go with another UK promoter, particularly as Colors was quiet last year according to this forum.
