Cocoon @ PACHA discussion

Yeah Peggy Gou is really in now, not really at all surprised with her packing it in. Plus she doesn't come as often as other DJs. Good too see it being busy..I was at the Koze date as you know WIC, and I found the dancefloor kinda slow until 2 .

I think it's honestly her booking that made Cocoon so busy and Appolonia too in the side room which also looked busy from pics, so I don't think cocoon will be as busy on later dates but I guess you never know. Jelly you made it out to that!
 
Also no doubt helped, however slightly, by the fact JJ - and then his stand-in - were not at Paradise last week.
 
So the cocoon day closing is on Friday 5th Oct?? Not the Thursday the day after cocoon pacha closing?

Sorry but it was really deep house. I didn't hear any diva vocals and it wasn't bouncey at all. Either way it was solid music.

They really did a good job with that second room...I need that incense scent they use inside! Ive smelled at the Pacha shop by the Egg in San Antonio as well.
 
Interested to hear any reports from Cocoon if anyone was in attendance last night.

Awaiting a review from a friend who was in attendance who said that the music went out at 06:30am on the dot...
 
Feedback from my friend (unfortunately not @Nobbie Q)..

Musically the best night of his holiday (also attending Solomun on Sunday which he said was superb and Prydz on Tuesday which was at his other halves request). He said Mano Le Tough was brilliant and Sven even better. However, he said it was very quiet last night. I kinda expected that with Mano as the guest and it being the week straight after peak season and against a decent Paradise lineup but I can't help but feel like its a real shame that Cocoon is not getting the love it deserves from a bigger crowd. Perhaps that says more about a combination of the demographic of people coming to Ibiza these days combined with the fact more people are coming at the weekend that it does the quality of Cocoon parties as every one that I or my friends have attended we have adored.....

Do people think this is the beginning of the end for Cocoon?

(I really hope not btw & cannot comment on numbers/how good it is these days as i haven’t been for 2 years myself)

Next season is the 20th season? Might have a think about things then I guess if things really are that bad?

Again can't comment myself. Main reason I couldn't go was the Wednesday move - annual leave has been tight this year and just couldn't make it work arriving mid-week for a late season jaunt which i suspect has been a problem for many.
