Cocoon last night

Unbelievably bad I am sorry to report.

There must have been at least a two hour build up for Sven and he eventually appeared at 5.35 am - if one pays 60Euros, i am sorry but it is ridiculous for the headliner to have such a short set and so late on. Lots of people had already left in dusgust at the constant build up to come to nowt.

Even worse Sven set was entirely built around love generation (although to be fair, he did a few good mixes) as Bob Sinclair was in the house. I did not expect this commercialism at Cocoon. I left when Sinclair started to sing at about 7am.

I am quite sad really, as I was looking forward to this night the most. Maybe my hopes very too high as last time I saw Sven was Amnesia closing.

The crowd tried their best to create an atmosphere but it is difficult when the actors dont perform. I dare say many people had a quality night, and dont get me wrong, it was an ok night, but just did not live up to expectations.

Right, maybe I missed him earlier probably due to my own stupidity as I was in the main room all night rather than the terrace . It was a double session after DC10 and to be fair I was a bit all over the place. Regardless, the story about Bob Sinclar is 100% true.

i don't follow, he played in the main room and boshing out some throbby tech at about 3:30 when i passed through for 10 mins.

He can't

Gary Pine sings Love Generation.

Freakstar - save me some of what you're having. I'll be there in 10 days

Did you ever have the pleasure of Sonique singing live? Seen her clear the dancefloor pretty sharpish in the past....

Ten days, that should make for a lengthy review. The best those of us not going again have to look forward to re: Ibiza 2010, don't let the forum down, Morbyd :)

I will be sure to (try to remember to) take notes and provide all the gory details

I've seen Sonique a couple of times. It was years ago. Her DJing wasn't horrible... thankfully she wasn't too vocal on the mic

The worst vocal performance in public I have ever heard was in Cafe Mambo when Judge Jules mrs sang some awful single that she was releasing....Angelic I think it was.

I just thought to myself.........why would someone let their wife make such a fool of themself in public. She hadnt a note in her head it was that bad.............
