Cocoon Club Frankfurt

Just booked flights this morning for £20 to go to the mighty Cocoon Club in Frankfurt to see Ritchie Hawtin - it's supposed to be an AMAZING venue, with the best sound system on the planet.
 
I checked out the website for this club, it looks fantastic! Make sure you book one of the little VIP rooms if you can, comes complete with minibar, CCTV so you can watch what's going on in the club etc. If you're going all that way you might as well make it a big one!
 
I've been there 3 months ago at sven väth's 40th birthday party...
laurent garnier, ricardo villalobos, steve bug, anthony rother and sven were playing. the party went on for 2 days 8O
it was an incredibe night in the best club I've ever been to...
amaaaaazing!!!

you also have to try the micro restaurant!!! the food is delicous. OMFG, it was so fantastic!!!

Sven Vath on the Cocoon Clubs sound system...

What date are you going? Put up a review once you get back as it's somewhere I've got on my list of places to visit.

Out for a couple of days - going to Cocoon on 25th Feb, Toni Rios and Ritchie Hawtin.
Techno clubs are great for me, cos I don't play much techno and know very little about it, so it's refreshing. And this club is supposed to be something else.

Clara - Ryanair do flights for 49p each way from Prestwick to Frankfurt !!! (20 quid with taxes). It's cheaper to go to Cocoon than it is to go to London !!!
 
I was actually planning on going to Berlin this week due to how cheap the flights were but work got in the way.

It's amazing how cheap some of these destinations are, although I can't say I'm a fan of Prestwick Airport!

I've actually been really impressed when Toni Rios when I've seen him, more so than by Vath himself.
