Quite possibly the best night of my life. Huge queues at the door for it opening at 12am.
Hawtin started straight away and played until 3am, Alter Ego were the only disappointment, then Sven Vath played until 6am, finishing with Discorout by Legowelt. He then came on the mic to tell us all that it had to finish due to Police advice, but that it would open again at 8am, so thousands of people hung around the car park !

Hawtin, Luciano (nice moustache) & Villalobos played b2b2b on the Terrace (and were all smashed), and Sven played 4 hours inside (and also looked a bit worse for wear !), finishing in the main room with some amazing music and the final track being The Bangles - Manic Monday !

Cocoon, easily my best night out in ibiza this summer, Roman Flugels set was a stormer!! :D

funny enough that night Mr Vath was smashed on allsorts by 7am, @ one point he jogged the needle on :lol:
 
Cocoon Closing After-After-after-reflections on spiritism

Hi dancing freaks.
On cocoons after@amnesia and @ the after-after near Cala Longa a guru was seen. Anyone who knows a bit more about this person?

Sounds amazing! We went to the opening in June and that blew us away, it is by far the best night on the island. We were hoping to get back for the closing but lack of funds and sky-high flights meant we couldn't :evil:

Cocoon have plans or so i hear to take ''Cocoon Tents/Arena's'' to festivals, Nature One, I Love Techno, Mayday etc :D

This all came about due to the success of this years world tour of which i caught the one date @ Fabric, Damn good night to!

^^I second that!! Cocoon is by far the best night.. I managed to make it to two cocoons this year (Richie Hawtin on the 29th, and Sven Vath on Sept 5th).. The...best...nights...ever!! :D :D :D :D

Seriously, cocoon is what makes me want to go back for a 3rd year!

The closing party sounded brilliant.. did you all have to lurk around in the parking lot for 2 hours? Didn't that get a tad boring?
 
I think the same. Cocoon is possibly the best night out in Ibiza regarding music and people, but I dislike more and more the policy of Amnesia of treating the people as a herd. This is more and more annoying and disappointing year after year.

Looking forward to next year to check out Monza Club @ Penelope as well (if it stayed there). Maybe this party will make me change my rating about which is the best.
 
cocoon closing was indeed amazing! liked richie hawtin's set alot more than the one i got from him in july.

also loved alter ego's live performance...in fact, i even enjoyed it more than hawtin...and then, sven came on...and played an insane set!

shame they had to close between 6am and 8am...i was too tired to make the afterhour at amnesia, but after a bit of sleep i made it to the afterparty at terra nova...when the police already had stopped the party :(

i kept getting text messages all bloomin' day & night from my sister & the base bar crew about HOW good it was blah, blah, blah!!!! :evil:

SPEWING I MISSED IT!!!
