Cocoon closing at Amnesia 24/09/07

Don't you just love LEIGHTWEIGHTS who cover up their LIGHTWEIGHTEDNESS by moaning about the entry price or whatever ;)
Hey im proud of my lightweightedness, we left sarah's at 2pm on monday straight to bed, and didnt wake up till 10am on tuesday morning!

people moaning about the price is 'gettingboringanditsmostlypeoplethatdidntgo'

those who went mostly seemed to enjoy it, those who didn't have learn't a lesson

Cocoon Closing was my main night out in Ibiza and it was absolutely unforgettable.
Got my tickets for 37euros, strutted into vip and spent half the night raving it overlooking the terrace and the other half in the main room enjoying the crowd.
It was packed but then it is the closing party for one of the worlds best parties, who wouldn't want to go?
How jokes were the mens loos? All those sweaty men gagging to get into a cubicle with little avail.

?!!
you bought tickets for 37 euros for cocoon closing... for the vip bit? how pray did this come about?

I wouldn't go to Cocoon again, personally. Yes, it used to be my favourite club and I love a lot of the djs who play there but Sven Vath is pretty poor nowadays and it's just horribly busy and full of posers who push you out of the way.

I know it's a cliche but it was so much better in its early days, whereas now it appears that the majority of the crowd only go because it's perceived as cool and don't care for the music or atmosphere.

Dan - It wasn't us who lightweighted out of Space at 3am on Sunday morning complaining of "sore feet"!! And where were you on Monday night? Not to be seen! At least Jon and me made the effort to actually go out and attempt to get tickets ;)

It's got nothing to do with us being boring either... trust me if there was any cheaper tickets flying about we would have gone. I have read quite a few bad reports about the Cocoon closing and part of me is glad I didnt go. I'm seeing Sven Vath at the End in a few weeks anyway so I should get my Cocoon fix there :)

My first Cocoon closing, and I really enjoyed it. Yes, it was rammed, but that's what I'd expect anyway, being one of the best nights on the island. Ricardo and Luciano b2b were fantastic, and it wasn't too bad on the terrace. Just getting from there to the main room and moving around was a bit tricky, though we did find a space on the dancefloor, ironically.

Sven dropped Beautiful Life and all the lights came on about 6.30, that was certainly a *moment*.

I'll be seeing the Cocoon Warehouse Project in Manc in Nov. Can't wait for that!

You sound old

:lol:Just wise, my friend. Anyway, 26 isn't too bad.

I'm 26 too but the old 'back in the day' 'it was better back then when....' lines make you sound old, it's a sign your cracking on and subconsciously you feel you can't fit in with the kids.

I know but in the case of Cocoon, it's true!

Sven must be nearing 60 these days anyway.
