Cocoon Closing 2011

walked down the beach past la plague on the way to nassau and about 4pm yesterday and it was absolultely bouncing - i jokingly said to my friends that it will probs be cocoon after party! asuming "LP" is la plague??

Well post-Circoloco recovery, we left our hotel for oreo milkshakes and a final day on beach when right next to our hotel we noticed activity at the practically abandoned La Plage (literally 2 events in the 2 weeks we were there). Straight away we guessed Cocoon afters so grabbed our breakfast, got our wristbands and hung about in Sun listening to Sven from about 1pm. Villalobos was in the venue and behind the decks but not sure he actually played any records. We sat in between people who clearly had been straight through Circoloco and Amnesia and a family with young child also enjoying the vibe. Stayed until after 6 when we had our final play in the sea before returning to have our dinner at hotel. Sven was on when we left. We probably returned just after 9 and Sven was still banging it out. We got some. Primo spots right behind the DJ box so away from sweaty people,got some Sven pics and watched him flirt with the girls. The place was packed and definitely a most enjoyable surprise final last day of holiday!

Nice one!! Lucky git, I am really really desperate to be out for cocoon opening next june I need some day time sven raving :)

I LOVE La Plage d'elephant. Had some great small parties there dancing on the sand in the steaming heat of night this summer. It has that vibe of when Ushuaia first opened at that location......before the MASSES arrived.... and it became what it became...

Sven was on at the afterparty the whole time I was there, as far as I could tell (from about 3 until a little after 7). Off his head! :lol: What a good time.
