Just wondering what its like :?: cus were thinkin about going in a few
weeks when over there. Really wanted to see Richie hawtin cus ive heard
hes meant to amazing, but i dont think hes there when we go over :( . But
then again there always laurant garnier n adam bayer :) .

But anyway whats the night like :?: (the atomosphere etc.
 
best night on the island by far for me,...admitidly i didnt attend space last yr :oops: so i cant compare it to that.

but if ur like me and loveeee ur techno the atmosphere is on top!!

full of europeans who just go mental!! :twisted:
 
ye EXCELLENT nite but i found the nite we went we seemed to be the only english in the place lmao good nite and good djs tho i missed richie h last yr, this yr im goin to see Marco Carola WOHOOOO
 
possibly,....cant quite remember dont even think i showed a face in there on that night as laurent garnier and sven vath were on top!!

allthough sometimes sven vath does an electro set in the main room,...depends when u catch him i suppose

It was the best night on the island for me last year...........Richie hawtin was unbelievable.

Musically, i think it's the best night on island, that includes space. We love Sunday's is good fun, but the music on the terrace is pretty cheesy.

It's a mixed crowd, but alot of Germans who love their tech house and techno go to Coccoon.

The second room at Coccoon is mainly house, tech-house and electro

Cocoon is one of the best nights on the island in my opinion.

I went last year, and went to this years opening and am going back in August. It really is a top party.

The second room is excellent as well, really messy electro house.
 
I agree with everything said in this thread - Cocoon IS one of the best nights on the island for year, and has some of the best techno/electro music and DJs (and tech house on the terrace usually)
You'll be definitely seeing me there this year (2nd of August) for Sven Vath and Laurent Garnier, among others... bring it onnnnnnnnnn 8O
 
Cocoon is an incredible night and not to be missed. You're a very lucky man if Laurent Garnier and Adam Beyer are on when you're over!

Why is it so good? Well, the crowd are lovely - no posers there. Also, unlike nights like Cream, whilst it's busy, it's not horribly claustrophobic and there's plenty of room to dance. The second room is usually fairly quiet so good for chilling out.

It's not just techno either. If you look at the names, there's glitch, micro-house, electro, house, everything really.

I can't recommend it enough!

One of the highlights of 2003 for me.

Quality, might be tempted to go see him then :!: ;) .

well its either that night, when were in our second week, or we could make it to see Laurant garnier on the first night we get there, but i think it would be too much of a rush, cause we dont land till about 11:00+ you see :!:. decisions decisions :roll: , might end up just chilling round mambo or something. :)
 
I'd do both, Theo!

Marco Carola and Laurent Garnier are both fantastic and are sure to do an amazing set.

Cocoon has such good line-ups this year.

The thing is ive never been circo loco@ dc10 either, so i really wanna sample that one week :!:. Theres just too many good things on :roll: , need to be out there for a month really, now that would b great ;) :)
