Don't come to Paris expecting tremendous nightlife - it sucks! The French just don't know how to let loose and party. They are too uptight! I've been living here for 14 years and still don't enjoy the night scene. Even a night out with a big name DJ (ie Roger Sanchez) can be ruined by the crowd. Lack of spirit.
Sorry Ralphy! I know we disagree on this - but at least we had a great time at the Space Closing party last Sunday!!!!!!!!!
 
All my friends that had year outs there said pretty much the same thing... it's too expensive and the people just don't smile when they're out!

That's my experience of clubbing in Paris, too.
I also thought it was strange that you couldn't sit down at a table. You have to "buy" the table, ie. buy an expensive bottle of champagne or other alcohol and then sit at the table all night :?
This was at least the case when we went to Rex.
