Clubbing in Paris

Is Paris good for clubbing?? We're going to Paris for the wkend of 14-17 July, clubbing isn't the main point of the trip but obviously if there's things worth going to it would be rude not to pop in and say hi ;)

Any recommendations or are we best off missing the clubbing??
 
i don't think you've got time to go clubbing if you're only goin for the wknd (unless there is some special event on or a particular night you wanna go to).

last time we went we looked to see what was on and spoke to some parisian friends....................wasn't one night in the whole city we fancied and moreover, didn't want to waste the next day recovering in bed whilst Paris 'lived, breathed and happened' on our doorstep.

we found some nice bars though that got lively on friday and sat and fulfilled the desire for some nice music and a boogie..........one in particular was like a bigger version of Pacha's Funky Room.

there's a nice one near where you're staying as well;) :)

That's what I thought, I'd go clubbing if there was something really good on but it's not as if we don't have more than our fair share of clubbing in London Town :lol: And I'd rather not spend a wasted day for a half-decent night.

Apparently it's famously rubbish, and probably he only place in Europe that'll make Ibiza look cheap.

And then there's the French...

I'm sure there was a similar thread before on this?

Let's hope Buckley doesn't get wind of this one, so we don't have to go through the will he/won't he proposal thing all over again!

you can do endless searches yourself..........but try this

you can search by area (you're staying in clichy/pigalle chica;))

The only one i would defo recommend is one called Chao Ba on Clichy, close to all the sleazy sex shows, prob a 10 min (max) walk from your hotel.

Its asian themed (thai/vietnamese food i think) but its all wooden effect, very earthy, KM5ish/ Bambuddha Grove-esque...................worth checking for a drink and/or meal en route to montmatre;) :) :)
